Met Scott, Toni and Dan for a run on the Jordan River trail. Plan was to do a long tempo at MP (7-8 miles). 3m warm up. 3m cooldown. 5m tempo. I only made it 4.5 at 5:42 pace. Effort was way harder than it should have been. The same thing happend on Saturday. I'm having trouble sleeping. I think I'm starting to exhibit some signs of early overtraining. Thankfully I don't have any injuries or tweaks...just fatigue. I'm going to back off the rest of this week and hopefully pick up the pieces next week and try and salvage what I can of SLC on the 20th. |
