Met Scott at Lone Peak track for some speed fun. 3m warm up.

6x800. First 3 had a 200m rest (about 1 min) between them. I decided to increase the rest to 400m and increase the intensity for the last 3.

 Splits: 2:32, 2:30. 2:29, 2:23, 2:23, 2:22

I felt surprisingly good. I ran with Scott for the first 3 and then he stuck with the 200m rest and we separated. This should be a good tune up for Saturday's 10k.

PM: 4m very easy. Weights.

PM2: 2m with the boys around the park with the dog.

Nice - way to crank 'em on the last 3.

What 10K are you running this weekend?

Yeah, that's a fast course. Don't be scared if you see fast splits. You're in for a good race, with all the quality training you've done! Enjoy it.

Good practice for the Des News 10K :-)
