This race is a pretty big deal. People come from all over the country to run it. Well, 1 did. I couldn't fine a race today so I decided to hold my own 5K on the track. 

Conditions: 78 degrees, slight wind on the back stretch, sunny.

Competition: An older woman doing 10 minute pace in lane 5.

Splits: 5:11, 5:08, 5:10, :30 - 15:59

It  wasn't quite race effort. Hard to push at the end on my own. I think this is my un-aided PR. Sure is easy to breathe down here!
